According to L W Reynolds there is mention of a St Botolphs Chapel in Bale (but no evidence of parochial use) in both the History of Norfolk 1805 Francis Blomefield Vol 9 page 357 and History and Antiquities of The County of Norfolk 1781 M J Armstrong Volume 7 page 6. At the present time, I have been unable to trace any more information or pictures. In due course I hope to source information and, if possible, to take some pictures. Of course, St Botolphs Chapel in Bale may no longer exist! | |
