The church at Barford,
dedicated to St. Botolph, is a small structure with a square tower and
three bells and stands proudly above the village. It dates from the 13th and
14th centuries. The Royal Arms of George III can be seen on the chancel
arch.
When I visited the church in July 2004 it was locked. In due course I hope to source more information. |
