The church stands on a hill in the centre of the old village. Much of the structure, including a fine broached spire, dates from the 13th Century; but some parts are even older. In the 1930’s the building was extended with a transept to replace seating lost when side galleries added by the Victorians were removed. In the time of the present incumbent a ramped access has been constructed to the main entrance, and new drainage and pathways installed around the building. | |
