| This is a very pretty small Early Norman church with nave, chancel and semi-circular apse, in a rather remote setting. Although the roof from the outside gives little impression of a Chancel there is a large Chancel Arch within, that was widened in 1831. The windows in the nave are of single light, the south one being original Early English. There is a Norman or possibly Anglo Saxon font of plain design (with a cover and a rood screen with loft dating from the early 20th century. There are two bells, but only one is hung – in a small tiled cover above the south door. There is a second blocked doorway on the south side and another one on the north. The church is very well maintained considering its location. It was open when I visited in January 2002. | ||
